Yes. We do our own design plans in house, which typically include floor plans, elevations, details, sections, schedules, electrical and plumbing layout, lighting layout, audio/visual, interior millwork and architectural details, finishes, and furniture plans. Once we have generated and defined the design concept, space plan, electrical, plumbing and construction plan layouts and elevations, we then will work with one of our esteemed structural engineering partners to complete the full set of structural drawings and calculations required to obtain a permit (if a permit is required). There will be some conditions and project scopes that may require hiring an Architect as a collaborative partner. In this case, we will work in tandem with an architect and any structural consultants, etc., to articulate the “design details” generated in our STEP ONE, TWO and THREE phases. As a highly skilled and experienced interior designer, I will focus primarily on the interior/exterior architecture and aesthetics of a space, which includes floor plans, elevations, fixtures, equipment, lighting, plumbing, etc. In addition, we consider the many opportunities to maximize function, flow, aesthetics, budget, and will incorporate the required measures for health and safety, and include the required code compliances for both residential and commercial projects.
