As you lovelies might know by now, cooking and baking is a HUGE passion of mine, and with the warm weekend upon us, I am on the mad search for a few new delicious springtime recipes for our weekly Sunday Family Dinners.

MY current favorite go-to spring salad ingredient combo is fresh roasted beets, candied pecans, baby greens, and fig glaze. Simple and “been there done that”, I know, but my family is obsessed with my garden harvest salad!

I was recently asked, “Where have you been finding inspiration lately?" Without a doubt, the first thing that comes to mind is nature. There is something so transformative and healing about engaging ALL the senses while practicing stillness within nature, that centers and aligns my creative spirit. It doesn't have to be anything fancy or over-complicated. In fact, for me it's just sitting in my backyard with my morning cup of coffee, taking in the sunrise, and watching all the colors, textures and sounds “wake up” for the new day. For me, stillness is a beautiful daily reassuring discipline; not only for my creativity, but for my mental and physical health.

I believe that we are all equipped with ALL the unique creative energy, inspiration, and talent we need to create joyful and successful lives, relationships, designs, and businesses. Our gifts are eternal. So it’s really about the daily practice of accessing our own eternal abundance.

Sometimes, when all the magical stars align just right, incredible moments, milestones, and relationships are created. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to serve such creative, decisive, trusting, patient, and joy-filled clients. This project, in particular, is one of those magical projects in our journey (although, ALL our projects and clients are pretty darn magical!!!). ALL the stars aligned for this one, and even tho there were a few frustrating bumps in the road (which is to be expected in a major construction project on an older home, especially during and following Covid), this project was an absolute privilege. This newly remodeled custom home is an oasis of perfection for our clients; A stunning personal expression of their love, lifestyle, family, and creativity!

SOON we will be shooting the remaining interior spaces and will be sharing all the progress in stories as we complete the exterior kitchen, and the front and back porch additions. Can’t wait to shoot these exterior spaces too! Wowza!
