It’s that time again! 👉🏻The Pasadena Showcase House is back, and the Board of Director’s plans for next year’s 2022 events are well underway. It’s so nice to see them planning for a new house again as the tradition continues and we strive to get back to whatever normal now means.
.
THIS was the kitchen project we completed for the last public (well, sort of) showcase during the 2020 pandemic, and in spite of delays, scorching heat, stressful conditions, masks and social distancing, we managed to present one hell of a kitchen and butler’s pantry; and even tho we couldn’t open to the public, the space was captured forever beautifully by @amybartlam.
.
Here’s a video I never managed to post and thought it was appropriate as we celebrate looking forward to the next @pasadenashowcasehouse for the arts, and once again, consider our own participation next year.

So…Will we participate?
Hmmm… 🤔 Not sure yet, but we’ll keep you posted! 😉

As it winds down here and we celebrate the last day of Fall High Point Market, it is with a full and massively grateful heart that I say THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the showroom this week and supported Seasonal Living and my NEW Provenance Signature Collection of residential and commercial indoor/outdoor furniture. The show was a beautiful success and I am completely and joyfully overwhelmed! The response was incredible, so much so that we have completely sold thru the initial container and we are quickly selling through the second!!! No worries though…More stock is on the way!!! #pinchme

It’s the weekend, friends! We have one more design meeting ahead of us and then it’s time for some self care and family time!

Occasionally, we prefer to schedule a design meeting on Saturday morning at the studio to accommodate our beloved working clients with kids, as it proves to be the most beneficial time for them to make creative decisions! There’s a lot less pressure and distraction, and much more ease around conversation and questions, (and the coffee is always flowing)! It also allows Cliff and I to maintain our “cut off” times during the week, so we can stay strong, connected, and well rested. #bestbusinesspractices 👍🏻

To maximize use and storage when you have a petit framework to work in, you need to think creatively! Eliminating stress for our client’s family, and designing a multi-purpose space was our No. 1 mission.

For this project, we strategically integrated the Laundry Room into the most popular and functional space in the home: the kitchen. It serves double duty as a lovely-yet-practical pet cabinet and laundry storage for a busy family!

We’re currently working on several new kitchen remodels and this kitchen still serves as a favorite project for crisp inspiration; and a beautiful example of a great process and the imperative trust between our client and our team!

And as for trust, we’ll be installing another @monogramappliances kitchen with @fergusonshowrooms! It’s just another part of how smooth our process is when we work with partners and brands that have so much integrity! @monogram_la_jon

As you may know, I attended #HPMKT a few weeks ago where I launched my FIRST Signature Collection; a 46-pc residential + contract grade fully-flexible indoor/outdoor furniture collection exclusively for @seasonal_living_trd. The launch was a success and seeing so many dear friends come by with hugs and support was a true highlight. The positive enthusiasm has been overwhelming. The collection celebrates my native California coastal roots and joy-filled memories with family on the healing shores of Malibu. Link in bio 👉🏻 ⁣

It’s been a lifelong dream to create a line of beautiful, flexible, California-fresh furniture, but it had to be just “right”, (right time/right team); and this was SO right. 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨, Gary Pettitt, CEO of SL for trusting me and investing in my creative ideas; 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨, @tkpleslie Leslie Carothers, Chief Energizing Officer of @savourpartnership, for the introduction to Gary + your generous wisdom, support + friendship during every step of the development and launch.⁣

Here’s what’s happening at the STUDIO: We’re wrapping up a very special 2 yr ground up #newbuild for 2 VERY special clients; we’re in mid-construction on a 10K sf Exec #tenantimprovement + sound studio in West LA, + 2 whole house #interiordesignbuild projects; we recently welcomed 2 NEW clients to our 4PT family (oohh, I can't WAIT to share these); internally, we’re refreshing our WEBSITE to include 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 to complement our 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦, and our NEW ONLINE 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 is finally in development!
