A CLASSIC EUROPEAN STYLE GUEST BATHROOM WITH A MODERN FLAIR FOR FUN

A beautiful and luxurious guest bath remodel that ignites conversation, relaxation, and inspiration! This project required the removal of the two dated soffits, and a new shower. We were able to retain the existing vanity, which we painted and added new beautiful luxe hardware! We updated the mirrors, plumbing fixtures, bead board and stone countertops with new beautiful finishes. The real hero in this space is the stunning and exciting wallpaper and lighting! What a lovely new space!

This beautiful guest bath was once an awkward, dated, and non-functional bath and we completely reimagined it—carving out a beautifully reconfigured space from two non-functioning adjacent spaces that now feels intentional, elevated, and serene. Swipe thru to see where we started and what we reconfigured.

We are obsessed with the simplicity of this design: the elegant upper grid storage, floating mirror, and sink console anchored by a slim, beautifully crafted metal frame that keeps the composition light, airy, and strikingly European - paired with a monochromatic stone mosaic installation and a brass wall mounted spigot style faucet.

Together, it creates a quiet, refined moment that feels almost like a pause in time—transporting one straight to the Italian countryside.

Small spaces carry some of the biggest and most creative design opportunities, and this one is a perfect example of how thoughtful reconfiguration can completely transform both form and function.

My kitchen: It is where I come alive and where love gathers!

Meals are made and served here, of course, but somehow everything else seems to happen here too. It is where family comes together to study, plan, grieve, laugh, cry, dance, and simply be. It is where life slows down, where we are fully present, and where some of the most ordinary moments become the ones we cherish most.

These lived experiences shape the way we approach our custom kitchen projects. Beauty matters, but a room also has to support the way people actually live and thrive in their space. That happens through countless thoughtful decisions made across EVERY element of the space.

When your kitchen is ready for an update, FOUR POINT Design Build is where the deeper work begins.

A beloved team favorite that continues to inspire.

Some projects and experiences stay with you long after the last item is installed, the close out is signed off, and the last photo is taken.

This is one of those projects. It remains a team favorite, and looking back at it, I’m reminded why it is still so special, and why it feels just as relevant today as the day we completed it.

There’s something about the way all of the moving parts came together: the architecture and space planning; the timeless materials; the team; the furnishings and details; the schedule, budget, and timeline; and most importantly, the way the home truly reflects the people who live in it.

After 30+ years in this business, I’ve learned that the projects we remember most aren’t necessarily the ones with the biggest budget, or the most extravagant -- they are the ones where everything feels intentional. Personal. Just right. Where the design rests softly in the background to reveal the people who live in and enjoy the space, where you walk through the door and think, yes…THIS...feels like "home".

Still love this one so much.

Hi! I’m Laura, Founder, Owner, and Chief Creative Officer of FOUR POINT. For more than 30 years, I’ve believed that great homes aren’t created by simply choosing beautiful things. They’re created through thoughtful collaboration, experienced guidance, excellence in craftsmanship, wise resourcing, and a clear vision for how you want to live and how your space needs to function.

At FOUR POINT, we bring design and build together to create spaces that are beautiful, functional, enduring, and deeply personal. Whether you’re planning a renovation, new construction, or simply exploring what’s possible, we’re here to bring clarity, creativity, and confidence to the process and help you create a home that truly feels like you.

Some of our favorite projects begin long before the first wall comes down. This one began BEFORE our clients even purchased their home.

After falling in love with one of our previous projects, our clients reached out to us through the broker. When they found a property in the beautiful hills of Calabasas, just minutes from Malibu, they invited us to walk it with them, assess its condition and potential, and help them understand what was possible before making an offer.

That was the beginning of a wonderful partnership and the transformation of a house into their FOREVER HOME.

Designed for a busy family, the vision was an eclectic blend of Hamptons charm, California coastal ease, Napa Valley elegance, and iconic mid-century modern forms. Rich materials, abstract art, and thoughtful architectural details bring personality to every corner.

At the heart of the home is a state-of-the-art kitchen designed for gathering, entertaining, and everyday living. Beautiful, welcoming, and highly functional, it's a space that reflects how this family truly lives.

Behind the finished spaces was a COMPLETE architectural transformation. We took the home down to the studs, reimagined the floor plan, removed walls, introduced new structural beams, and updated the home's essential systems. Thoughtfully integrated storage, an expansive covered front porch, and a screened-in rear porch created even more opportunities for connection and comfortable living.

The result is one of our most beloved projects. A one-of-a-kind California home where architecture, function, materiality, and personality come together in a way that feels entirely their own.

We're incredibly grateful for our clients' trust and the opportunity to bring their vision to life!

Something to think about.

We often hear that the people and things we surround ourselves with have the power to shape how we feel, think, and live. They can lift us up, inspire us, and make us feel safe and supported.

But what about the spaces we call home?

We move through their hallways. We wake up in their rooms. We grow accustomed to their clutter, their rhythms, and even the things that no longer serve us.

Over time, we adapt to our surroundings, sometimes without realizing just how much they influence us.

Our homes have a profound impact on our everyday lives. So ask yourself:

• Does your home nourish your well-being and creative spirit?
• Does it support the way you actually live?
• Does it reflect the soul of who you are or want to be?

Because home isn't just the backdrop to our lives. It's woven into the fabric of how we live them.

Creating a home that feels good, functions well, and truly feels like you is perhaps less about having more and more about intentionally surrounding yourself with what supports you.

Something to think about.

Creating a home that truly supports the way you live begins with understanding what's possible.

If you're ready to explore those possibilities, we'd love to hear what you have in mind!

Color has a way of changing the whole conversation.

A moody blue bookcase. Jewel-toned tiles. Deep green built-ins. A dark contrasting moment tucked into an otherwise bright room.

Sometimes color takes center stage. Other times, it slips in and makes everything around it more interesting.

Either way, we are so VERY much in favor of letting a space have a little (or A LOT) of personality.

Enjoy a little color inspiration, straight from the FOUR POINT archives. We'd love to know which color you'd make room for in your own home. Tell us in the comments!

And if you're ready to bring a little more color into your space, our new 1:1 virtual color consultations are a great place to start. You'd be surprised by how much we can accomplish in just one hour!

The most memorable spaces are the ones that make you FEEL something.

From one of our recently completed projects where we remodeled FOUR bathrooms, THIS lovely guest bathroom feels expressive, luxurious, and restorative, all at once.

What gives it that depth is the layering. Pattern, texture, material, proportion, and architectural detail all build on one another, creating a space that feels rich without feeling heavy.

At FOUR POINT Design Build, we think beyond individual selections and consider how each layer contributes to the whole. When those decisions are carried through with care, the result feels seamless, even when the design itself is bold.

That is the work behind a space that feels effortless: The planning and coordination you may never see, but will always experience.

Sometimes the next step is simply knowing your space could feel better. We can take it from there.

Well designed shelves have two jobs: They need to store what you actually use with practical accessibility, and they need to feel like a beautiful, seamless, and INTERESTING part of the room.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:
◾Decide which everyday items you REALLY need to display within easy reach
◾Select 3-5 key inspirational items you want to incorporate into the display
◾Group similar items together in odd numbers - consider groupings such as function, usage frequency, size, or color.
◾Determine how these shelves and items will be used and move any smaller clutter items into closed or decorative stacking storage

STYLING:
◾Vary the height of objects
◾Leave a little breathing room between items and groupings
◾Select a common thread between groupings to create continuity - consider color, texture, and finish

THE TAKEAWAY:
Organization, Function, and styling do not have to compete. When shelves are planned around the way you ACTUALLY live, they can work hard and still look beautiful doing it.

If smarter storage STYLE AND ORGANIZATION is part of your renovation or refresh plans, explore our design-build and consulting service options through the link in our bio. We'l love to help you reimagine your space!

Hey guys! I’m so excited to finally share this project!

Our lovely returning clients trusted us to remodel FOUR bathrooms in their thoughtfully updated “new traditional” home.

For their daughter’s bathroom, the key was rethinking the footprint. By borrowing underused space from the adjacent bedroom and hallway closet, we created a generous new ensuite with better circulation, personalized storage, and a direct connection to her bedroom.

The material palette balances youthful femininity with a sophistication that can grow with her.

Great design is not always about more. Sometimes, it is about seeing the potential that was there all along.

Have a space that is not working quite right? We’d love to help you rethink what’s possible.

There is something magical about restoring an older home.

It's not about erasing its history—it's about honoring it, preserving its character, and thoughtfully preparing it for its next chapter.

This beautiful 1930s Spanish bungalow in the heart of Hollywood reminded us exactly why we love what we do.

Like many renovations, this journey came with its share of challenges. Record rainfall, city and permit delays, client travel schedules, and even a few lingering rounds of COVID tested every stage of the process. But what never wavered was the trust our clients placed in us and our process. Their patience, kindness, and faith in our team gave us the freedom to navigate every obstacle with care and deliver a home crafted with intention.

Our goal wasn't simply to design a beautiful home - but rather we designed for the rhythm of our clients' lives. Every room was thoughtfully considered to support the way they gather, create, entertain, and find joy in the everyday - where every material, every detail, and every space feels timeless, welcoming, and deeply personal - all while honoring the timeless character of this remarkable home.

After all, great design has never been just about the pretty stuff.

We are incredibly grateful to have been entrusted with such a meaningful investment and chapter in our clients' lives. Swipe to see where this beautiful story began.

If you're preparing for a remodel and want experienced guidance before making important decisions, our 1:1 TALD Virtual Consultations are here to help. We'd be honored to help you navigate your project with clarity and confidence.

There's something so exciting about the beginning of a new week -- especially when it kicks off a new month.

Maybe it's the feeling of a fresh start, (and who doesn't love a fresh start, right?!?), or maybe it's just knowing there are exciting new opportunities and solutions right around the corner, either way...I do love Mondays! And, somehow we're already talking about Fall! Yikes! But also, YAY!

Looking back at July, there's one thing I'm reminded of...that growth isn't built in the big moments. Yes, true, the crystallization of consistent efforts can feel BIG at the time, but it's actually built by the small, consistent, intentional, and ordinary moments:

The daily practice of quiet mornings with Jesus,
The spontaneous conversations with kind strangers,
The small decisions we make every day to choose faith and believe,
A daily commitment to learning new skills
And the disciplined choice to keep showing up, doing our very best for our team and clients, even when progress feels slow.

These are the moments that shape our lives and support expansion.

So this week, and every week, we will practice gratitude over perfection, faith over fear, and progress over pressure.

I hope whatever you're working toward brings you one step closer to where you're meant to be.

Wishing you a beautiful week ahead...and hellooooooo August! xx

As we move through summer, wellness is taking center stage—and our homes should be designed to support that.

Wellness doesn't begin when your home is finished. It begins in the decisions you make during the design process.

A steam shower is one of the most valuable investments you can incorporate into a remodel. Beyond creating a luxurious spa experience, it can promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, support respiratory health, improve circulation, and encourage a daily ritual of slowing down and recharging.

The key? Planning for it early.

Proper waterproofing, ventilation, ceiling design, framing, electrical requirements, proper materials, and equipment placement all need to be considered from the very beginning. These are the behind-the-scenes decisions that not only make a steam shower possible, but ensure it performs beautifully for years to come.

The best design solutions are rarely the ones you see—they're the ones you plan for. When wellness is considered from the start, your home can seamlessly integrate the features that elevate everyday living without costly revisions or compromises later. That's the value of thoughtful planning and experienced guidance.

Thoughtful design isn't just about creating a beautiful home—it's about creating a home that supports the way you live.

If wellness is one of your priorities, let's begin the conversation. Click the link in our bio, complete our project questionnaire, and our team will get back to you and schedule your complimentary introductory call.
